Sam's Aftermarket Parts Listing
Below you'll find a listing of parts that I've found that are available for you to hop up your T-Bird, Cougar, or Mark VII, either performance, handling, or appearance-wise. This listing is not all-inclusive, and the listings have been pulled from various catalogues that are current as of Nov. 1998. Check with the companies to see if the parts are still available. You may notice that there are not many engine parts listed here. This is because most 5.0 parts available are for the HO verion, which was not installed at the factory in T-Birds/Cougars. Mark VII LSC owners and owners of other vehicles which were converted to HO specs should have no trouble locating hop-up parts for their engines simply by picking up a copy of 5.0 Mustang, Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords, or some other late model Mustang publication. There simply would never be enough room to list them all here. Instead, I've included a list of parts that are popular for the non-HO engines and some parts that you would need to upgrade your engine to HO, Mass-Air specs. Once you've done this, the world is full of parts available to you. Also, I've included some parts for popular engine swaps.

14 All of the parts with the footnote "14" are required to convert your 5.0 SEFI to HO  Mass Air specs. You will also need HO heads, upper intake manifold, and camshaft. The HO cam will change your firing order. If you plan on using an aftermarket camshaft, you MUST either replace your pistons with HO units or have your existing pistons flycut for valve clearance. Failure to do so will result in piston/valve interference and will really suck!
